We have a amazing opportunity to join a young person's leisure resort as a head chef. You will have experience of running a very busy kitchen and catering for up to 650 covers. You will have experience working in a high volume kitchen as well providing excellent quality food for the visitors and staff. You will have extensive experience making sure the kitchen is safe of allergens.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook nutritious, balanced meals for a up to 650 students and staff.
Ensure all meals meet dietary, religious, and medical requirements, including allergen awareness.
Work efficiently in a high-volume catering environment while maintaining quality.
Build and develop the team
Follow food hygiene and safety regulations to the highest standards.
Assist with menu planning, incorporating variety and special dietary needs.
Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth service and a positive dining experience.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all health and safety procedures.
Oversee kitchen audits
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume catering kitchen
Strong knowledge of allergens, special diets, and food safety regulations.
