Groundworker – Tree Surgery / Landscaping

GraftinGardeners Ltd is one of London's leading tree surgery companies. Family-run since 2009, we now operate 10+ full-time tree teams plus landscaping and gardening crews. Due to continued growth, we're looking for reliable and hardworking groundworkers to join our expanding team.
The Role
This is a physical, outdoor role working alongside our tree surgeons on jobs across London and Surrey. You'll be part of the ground crew, ensuring jobs run smoothly and sites are left safe and tidy.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist climbers with ground support
* Dragging and processing branches
* Feeding woodchippers
* General site clearance and tidying
* Using basic tools such as saws and hedge trimmers (if experienced)
* Carry out safe, efficient work in all weather conditions
* Maintain site safety and professionalism at all times
Requirements
* Able to reliably start work at our Leatherhead yard by 06:30
* The right to work in the UK
* Full clean UK driving licence (preferred)
* Valid CSCS card (or willingness to obtain one)
* PPE preferred (but not essential)
Desirable (but not essential)
* Driving licence (preferred, but not essential)
* CSCS card (or willingness to obtain one)
* Chainsaw, Woodchipper, or Stump Grinder tickets
* First Aid (+F), Chapter 8, Aerial Rescue
* Previous experience in tree work, landscaping or grounds maintenance (preferred but not essential)
