Overview
An exciting opportunity within MFT for a 12 month fixed term band 6 specialist nurse within the Severe asthma service. Based at Wythenshawe hospital, the successful candidate will provide care to severe asthmatic patients as part of one of the leading national centers. The post holder will work as part of an established multi-disciplinary team and will assist in the delivery of care, providing assessment, treatment, education and support to patients and their families, and helping to develop other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
* Provide care to severe asthma patients as part of an established multidisciplinary team
* Conduct assessments and contribute to treatment planning
* Deliver education and support to patients and their families
* Support and development of other healthcare professionals
Qualifications and experience
* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a nurse at band 5 level with experience in respiratory medicine
* Confident decision maker, hardworking, forward thinking, dedicated and passionate about respiratory patient care
* Qualifications demonstrating specialist respiratory knowledge
* Experience within the NHS essential
