The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Systems Support technician to join an established, forward-thinking, and responsive team within the Mission Systems Business Stream. You’ll help enhance the team’s effectiveness, bringing professionalism and knowledge to our prestigious customers.
* Provide first/second line support for bespoke/niche systems.
* Support incident management.
* Collaborate with developers on system commissioning.
* Provide technical advice and manage assets/systems.
* Note: The successful candidate will be required to pass a medical questionnaire or examination as a condition of employment.
This full-time role involves 37 hours per week, based on-site at Ashchurch, Tewkesbury, with occasional travel.
Essential Experience
* Linux administration.
* Virtualisation management (VMWare).
* Windows administration.
* Methodical approach with attention to detail.
* Knowledge of IT system build and development.
* Sound judgement for decision-making under pressure.
* Incident management skills.
* Ability to operate within PU status.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a UK national eligible for Enhanced Developed Vetting (EDV) security clearance. Certain roles are subject to national security and trade restrictions.
