You'll be working either 1:1 with a child who needs extra support or providing general classroom support, helping the class teacher create a fun, engaging and safe learning environment. About the Role As an Educational Support Assistant, you will: Support pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis Assist with learning activities across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 Help create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment Encourage pupils' emotional, social, and academic development Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support learning plans Provide encouragement, positivity, and consistency throughout the school day What We're Looking For You don't need formal school experience-just the right mindset. We welcome: School support experience (desirable but not essential!) Experience with children from work, volunteering, or personal settings Passionate, patient and nurturing individuals Someone reliable, dedicated and happy to work in a primary school setting If you have a background in care, youth work, coaching, early years, or support roles-your skills are highly transferrable!
