About The Role
This role is a key part of an institution‑wide strategic project transforming portfolio and curriculum management. You will lead the procurement and implementation of a curriculum management system and redesign all related processes, including programme development, annual curriculum planning, late modifications, continuous improvement, revalidation, and suspension/withdrawal.
Reporting to the Head of PCMS Project Delivery, you will plan, coordinate, and deliver operational business process change across academic schools and corporate services, support the implementation of the system from the business perspective, and provide subject‑matter expertise in at least one area: academic quality and enhancement; student/course records management and systems; or business change management.
The project offers both full‑time and part‑time roles for the first year. Applicants should obtain line‑manager support for potential secondment prior to applying.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the procurement of a curriculum management system solution and design implementation strategy.
* Coordinate with Digital Services and stakeholders to align business needs with the new system.
* Redesign business processes across academic schools and corporate services.
* Provide subject‑matter expertise in either academic quality, student records, or business change management.
* Develop and deliver training, guidance, and stakeholder engagement activities.
* Ensure customer‑focused improvements that benefit university staff and students.
* Support large‑scale operational process implementation.
Qualifications and Experience
* Substantial specialist experience in one of: academic quality and enhancement; student/course records management and systems; business change management in academic schools and colleges.
* Experience delivering customer service and process improvements.
* Experience in project delivery or large‑scale operational processes.
* Experience developing and delivering training, guidance, or stakeholder engagement.
* Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
