Fire Door & Fire Stopping Surveyor UK & Ireland Travel Required Permanent – Interviews in December / Start Date January Vehicle, Fuel Card, Accommodation & Food Allowance Provided Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Fire Door & Fire Stopping Surveyor to support ongoing projects across the UK and Ireland. This is a true 50/50 split role, carrying out intrusive fire door surveys and fire stopping surveys, providing clear recommendations, and ensuring full compliance across a range of commercial and residential environments. Key Responsibilities • Conduct intrusive fire door surveys, including measuring for new door sets to be ordered. • Complete fire stopping surveys, identifying, recording, and recommending appropriate remedial actions. • Use OneTrace to log all survey findings, photographs, measurements and compliance notes. • Produce clear, accurate survey reports and recommendations for clients and internal teams. • Liaise with project managers, contractors and residents where necessary. • Travel nationwide and to Ireland (Dublin projects currently active) – staying away regularly is essential. • Support wider compliance programmes and assist in quality assurance when required. Requirements • Proven experience conducting fire door surveys with strong technical knowledge – fire door bias preferred. • Confident measuring for new door sets and familiar with intrusive survey methodology. • Strong understanding of fire stopping principles, products and remediation options. • Competent user of OneTrace (or similar compliance apps). • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively and stay away. • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
