About the ECT Role
As an ECT, you will:
* Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across your chosen secondary subject
* Develop classroom practice with guidance from experienced mentors

* Adapt teaching methods to support a diverse range of learners
* Take part in CPD, reflection, and regular progress reviews as part of your ECT induction
* Contribute to the wider school community and departmental planning

What We’re Looking For in an ECT
To be successful in this Secondary ECT role, you will need:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or pending award

* A proactive attitude toward behaviour management and pastoral care
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
