Regional Traffic Management Manager
Location: Regional (UK)

We’re looking for an experienced Traffic Management Manager to take responsibility for our regional operations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands the realities of working in traffic management, can plan effectively, and knows how to lead a team on the ground.
You’ll be responsible for organising and delivering traffic management across multiple sites, ensuring everything is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations. Just as importantly, you’ll be leading a team of operatives—supporting them, developing them, and making sure standards are consistently high.
What you’ll be doing:
- Planning and organising traffic management works across the region
- Producing clear and accurate TM drawings and site plans
- Managing day-to-day operations and allocating resources effectively
- Leading and supporting TM operatives and supervisors
- Carrying out site visits, audits, and risk assessments
- Ensuring full compliance with UK safety standards and legislation
- Acting as a point of contact for clients and local authorities
- Continuously looking for ways to improve efficiency and safety
What we’re looking for:
Lantra qualifications in:
- 12AB (high-speed roads)
- 12D (urban roads)
- Solid experience in a traffic management role, ideally at a supervisory or management level
- Confidence in designing and drawing traffic management layouts
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Good communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
You’ll be expected to hold:
- 12B LTMO – essential
- 12A TSCO – essential
- 12D RLTMO – desirable
Desirable experience
- Previous responsibility for regional or multi-site operations
- Street Works (NRSWA) Supervisor qualification
- Experience dealing directly with clients
- A good understanding of planning, scheduling, and commercial pressures
