🌟 About the Role
As a Clinical Research Nurse, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality clinical trials from start‑up through to close‑out. You’ll work to ICH/GCP guidelines, support patient engagement, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of study data.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
* Managing nursing activities across the full lifecycle of clinical trials
* Attending Site Initiation Visits (SIVs) and staying updated on protocol changes
* Conducting PIV patient interest visits and supporting patient retention
* Collecting, verifying, and entering study data into source notes and CRFs/eCRFs
* Creating a welcoming, professional environment for patients and staff
* Responding to clinical emergencies when required
* Regularly checking and maintaining the emergency trolley
* Performing laboratory duties as needed
* Ensuring GDPR compliance at all times
* Keeping up to date with training, SOPs/COPs, and regulatory standards
👤 Ideal Candidate
* NMC Registered Nurse with no restrictions
* Minimum of 2 years post‑registration experience
* Clinical research experience is desirable but not essential
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
* Patient‑focused, compassionate, and proactive
* Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team
* Full driving licence required due to site location
