The role
We’re looking for a Flexible Area Supervisor to support our Regional and Account Managers in delivering high-quality soft services across multiple client sites. This is a hands-on, people-facing role where no two days are the same — perfect for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and being visible on site.
You’ll play a key part in keeping contracts running smoothly, supporting site teams, maintaining standards, and ensuring health & safety compliance across your allocated area.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll support service delivery across client sites, including:
* Providing holiday and sickness cover to ensure continuity of service
* Carrying out site spot checks to confirm teams have the correct equipment, uniforms, and consumables
* Identifying and reporting any service delivery issues to the Regional or Account Manager
* Supporting monthly site audits, sharing findings with clients and providing feedback to on-site teams
* Helping operatives understand site documentation (Site Bible, RAMS, COSHH, SSOW, etc.)
* Flagging when site documentation needs updating
* Supporting health & safety compliance, including toolbox talks, inductions, and online training
* Reporting accidents, incidents, and near misses in line with company procedures
* Coordinating or advising on PAT testing where required
* Monitoring and supporting correct use of Smart Task (booking in/out, usage guidance)
* Supporting the wider team with any reasonable management requests

What we’re looking for
Essential:
* Previous supervisory experience, ideally across multiple sites
* Background in soft services, preferably cleaning (including specialist cleaning)
* IOSH qualification (minimum requirement)
* Strong awareness of Health & Safety best practice
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
* Excellent time management and organisation
* Full UK driving licence
* Flexible approach to working hours
Desirable:
* NVQ or similar qualification in Facilities Management
* Experience using cleaning machinery (buffers, scrubber dryers, i-mops, etc.)
