About You
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will help prepare and serve nutritious meals that residents enjoy. You will uphold high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene, maintaining food supplies and equipment, and ensuring resident wellbeing is prioritized.
We seek candidates with some kitchen experience, or those willing to study for an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation. Strong organizational skills, good record keeping, following recipes, and considerate communication are essential. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility; you should be able to recognize signs of abuse or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All colleagues will attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional related training.
