Facilities Engineer \n\nUp to £50,000\nSoutheast, London\nFull time, Monday to Friday weekend availability 45 hours a week\n Do you have a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering?\n\nAre you looking to join an ambitious professional company?\n\nWe are currently recruiting a Facilities Engineer to join our client.\n\nThe main purpose of this role is to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on equipment within the sterile and decontamination plant services for the Healthcare industry, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, minimal downtime, and optimal operational efficiency.\n\nThe role includes completing scheduled maintenance tasks, responding to breakdowns, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.\n\nIn return, our client is offering a salary of up to £50,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, bonus based on individual performance and company performance, pension scheme and many more.\n\nThis is a full-time role working 45 hours a week, Monday – Friday with weekend availability.\n\nReporting to the Lead Engineer, your responsibilities will be:\n\nPlanned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual maintenance tasks.\nReactive Maintenance\nLiaise with key subcontractors for both planned and reactive maintenance to maintain compliance and service levels.\nEnsure all maintenance work adheres to policies, industry regulations, and health & safety standards.\nMaintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, service reports, and compliance documentation.\nThe ideal candidate:\n\nMinimum of 3 years' experience in equipment maintenance within a healthcare or sterile services environment.\nKnowledge of health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and safe systems of work.\nAbility to diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.\nHealth and Safety qualifications (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH).\nFamiliarity with NHS Estates guidelines and compliance frameworks.\nFor more information on our Facilities Engineer role, please contact Amy Hale in the Attega Group offices today
