Site Construction Manager - Energy from Waste - Glasgow - 24-Month Contract
Our client, an international leader in the traditional and renewable power plant industry, is recruiting for a Site Construction Manager to join their Glasgow based project. Responsibilities:
1. Receiving awareness of all necessary information on the situation and circumstances on the building site and all coherent questions such as working conditions, access possibilities, type and organisation on site, storage possibilities, facilities that exist or still have to be built, storekeeping, the position of the handover points of the resources such as water or electricity, the legal provisions and industrial ordinances applicable at the place of implementation and the employment of local staff etc. by inspecting the site and/or where necessary by appropriate questions.
2. Coordination of all interfaces between all individual suppliers/installation companies involved in project site activities
3. Supervision of the installation in conformance to client's instructions
4. Supervision of installation progress
5. Site organisation
6. Compliance and strict observation of the valid operational safety rules and regulations
7. Deadline/ workmanship monitoring
8. Preparation of installation-progress reports/ reporting on a weekly basis
Requirements:
9. Being experienced in Site Construction Management of Energy-from-Waste Construction multi-national Projects
10. Hold health and safety management certificates appropriate for Site Management Level
11. Working closely together with the HSE Managers and Project Management, Engineering Team, coordinating/actively managing all Process Contractors on site
12. Working closely with the several Site Managers for eg. Civils, Boiler-, Grate-, Steel Structure, Flue Gas Treatment, E&IC, Balance of Plant etc.
