Paralegal (Residential Conveyancing), West Midlands, GBP 32,000+ (DOE) : A new opportunity for a confident, capable Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join a busy and collaborative Residential Conveyancing Team. You'll manage your own caseload of residential property transactions while also providing vital support to the Residential Legal Team. JOB REF:0064.
THE ROLE:
- Provide client:focused support with regular communication and updates
- Liaise confidently with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
- Assist the RLT with progressing matters and handling day:to:day tasks
- Provide support and cover for colleagues during leave or absences
- Offer guidance to Legal Support Assistants (LSAs) on conveyancing processes and administrative matters
- Responsible for a varied caseload to include, Freehold and Leasehold Sales and Purchases, Transfers of Equity, Remortgages, Assents, First Registrations and Lease Extensions
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Several years of hands:on residential conveyancing experience in a law firm
- Ability to manage an active caseload with intermediate supervision
- Strong working knowledge of the full conveyancing process
- Excellent client care skills and communication abilities
- Confident IT skills and familiarity with conveyancing software
- Team player with a proactive and supportive approach
