Then read on The role is 100% office based at present You will be working between the hours of 8am - 5:30pm (e.g start at 8:30 and finish at 5pm) - flexibility is key! 33 days annual leave (8 public holidays included) Pension Chance to progress You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders from receipt through to shipment. This includes verifying order details, entering data into the system, coordinating with various departments, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Receive and review customer purchase order Enter sales orders into the company's order management software Verify stock availability and liaise with the production teams to confirm lead times and shipping dates. Communicate order confirmations, shipping updates, and any potential delays or issues to customers Address customer enquiries regarding order status, product information, and pricing. Coordinate with the shipping and logistics departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment and shipment. Generate and maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, and shipping documentation. Process order changes, cancellations, and returns according to established procedures. Assist with resolving discrepancies related to orders, inventory, and shipping. Qualifications: Proven experience in order processing, data entry, or a related administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment - or the passion to do so! Proficiency in using order management software -ideally Dynamics Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and speed. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Desired Attributes: Familiarity with manufacturing processes A proactive and positive attitude.
