By joining Ofgem as Deputy Director of Digital Delivery, you'll play a vital role in transforming how we deliver national energy schemes and support the UK's journey to Net Zero. Job Description: The Deputy Director will oversee the Digital Delivery portfolio capability in Delivery & Schemes and provide leadership to multi-disciplinary teams to administer and maintain 12 existing schemes and to, design and develop a range of digital products and service for new schemes. You will pro-actively develop and deliver Ofgem's principal core duties in relation to a scheme administration portfolio of regulatory and delivery responsibilities. You will be an expert in developing user centric digital products and services to industry/Government Digital Standards and delivery excellence. The schemes we administer range from renewables incentives to energy efficiency and social programmes. We work with energy companies, scheme participants, consumer groups and other stakeholders includingelected membersto ensure that policy targets are met in the most economical and consumer conscious ways possible. Delivery & Scheme's Digital Delivery and support activities are critical to this success. The Digital Delivery portfolio is a growing team of 132 FTE and this leadership role plays a pivotal role at the heart of Delivery & Schemes by providing clear leadership and direction for delivering new key digital schemes, products and services to support business as usual regulatory and delivery matters to drive forward Ofgem's strategic agenda. Essential Criteria: • Solid expertise in Digital Delivery and Product Management as demonstrated by proven record of high performance and substantial achievements in past positions. (Lead) • Experience leading teams to deliver high-value, digital programmes, with a proven ability to manage a quality service, delivering user-focused high-quality outcomes, at pace and to recognised industry /government Digital Standards. (Lead) • Professional knowledge and experience that evidence leading sizeable multi-disciplinary teams setting the strategic direction to deliver strong performances. • Expertise in budget planning, financial and resource management and agile framework with strong business acumen and business planning skills. • Experience of working with Boards and senior officials and making a positive impact with a range of senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
