Join Our Team as a Hardware Team Leader!
Location: Rochester
Salary: Circa £60,000 per annum
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Hardware Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a talented electronics design team. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading both managerial and technical aspects of the team.
* Managing work packages, including cost, schedule, risk, and opportunities.
* Ensuring the engineering team meets production program demands.
* Providing technical governance and ensuring adherence to company processes.
* Driving cost and performance trade-offs.
* Overseeing Control Account Management (CAM).
Your Skills and Experiences:
Essential:
* Demonstrated high performance in leading engineering teams through the full product development lifecycle.
* Proven experience with cost and planning management tools, optimizing solutions, and minimizing impacts from dependencies.
* Experience in design improvements and team skill development, focusing on failure reduction and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
* Knowledge of supporting production programs.
Desirable:
* Experience with PLD / FPGA design.
* Familiarity with requirements management tools, such as DOORS.
* Experience with work-package management tools, such as MSP or JIRA.
