Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small, friendly team at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and knowledgeable Cardiac Physiologist to provide excellent care across the full range of cardiac investigations.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist and advanced assessment of cardiac devices within a range of settings, at an independent practice level under the guidance of the Cardiac Device Lead & Consultant Clinical Scientist, adjusting plans and reprogramming devices as clinical situations evolve.
* Undertake a range of cardiac investigations within the scope of professional practice.
* Monitor appropriateness of clinical referrals, selecting the most appropriate techniques to aid the patient care pathway.
* Attend to patient needs and maintain the highest standards of patient care at all times, ensuring comfort and dignity during procedures.
* Report clinical findings to the appropriate clinical staff in accordance with departmental protocol.
* Maintain high‑quality records and documentation.
* Provide advice and support to multidisciplinary personnel, influencing patient care and outcomes.
Skills
* Up‑to‑date degree‑level knowledge of invasive and non‑invasive cardiac physiology investigations.
* Knowledge of FDA regulations related to cardiac testing and research.
* Ability to monitor patients effectively during cardiac procedures.
* HCPC/AHCS/RCCP registered.
* Familiarity with data analysis tools such as R, Python, and SAS for research purposes (desired).
