Responsibilities
As a Graduate Building Surveyor you can expect to be working on real projects across both the private and public sector, including education, defence, healthcare, custodial, residential, culture & heritage, retail, sports & leisure and workplace, to name a few. You will be joining a supportive network as part of a national team, where you will receive valuable training, guidance and genuine scope for career development.
* Supporting the preparation of surveys, designs, reports and contract documents, including drawings.
* General administration of team projects.
* Supporting senior leads with the delivery of projects.
* Managing small / medium sized projects as appropriate.
* Attending meetings/ presentations where appropriate.
* Supporting / undertaking on-site or other survey work.
* Ensuring that you understand and comply with all Health & Safety requirements, practices, and procedures.

Qualifications
* A RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying (Expected/Achieved).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as you will be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
* The ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team.
* Able to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks.
* Will demonstrate a desire to learn, a hunger for progression and a conscientious attitude.
* Be committed to continued professional development and are looking to achieve MRICS statutes within 3-4 years.
* Have previous work experience/placement in a Building Surveying role (desirable, not essential).
