Clinical Support Worker – Greenways Assessment & Treatment Unit
Recruiting a Clinical Support Worker (CSW) for the Greenways Assessment & Treatment Unit, a 12-bed adult learning disability unit in Macclesfield, Cheshire, rated Outstanding by the CQC.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist patients with physical and psychological care.
* Support daily living activities, medication administration, and health monitoring.
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide person‑centred care.
* Work within a 24/7 shift pattern (Day 07:30‑20:00, Night 19:30‑08:00).
Qualifications & Experience
* Ability to provide good quality care whilst following Trust policies and procedures, with a commitment to completing a Care Certificate.
* Knowledge of learning disability services, confidentiality issues, and continuous service improvement in this context.
* Experience working collaboratively with colleagues, wider teams, service users, and their families.
* Willingness to undertake apprenticeship or further training to reach level 3 or above in a role‑relevant subject.
Desirable
* GCSE Maths and English.
* Learning disability training courses or completion of the Care Certificate.
* Previous experience with adults with learning disability needs.
Benefits & Contract
* Band 3 salary of £24,937‑£26,598 per annum pro rata.
* Permanent contract.
* Full‑time or part‑time options available.
