💰 Rate: £850 per day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)
✅ Clearance: BPSS + Medical Questionnaire + Proof of Right to Work in the UK
Are you an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) ready to take on a high-impact role in the offshore wind sector?
We’re looking for a skilled professional to ensure electrical safety and deliver critical isolations and safety documentation under client Electrical Safety Rules.
What You’ll Do
* Act as SAP, reporting to the Lead SAP, ensuring safe working practices and compliance with HV safety rules.
* Produce and review switching schedules.
* Carry out isolations, earthing, and issue safety documents.
* Support testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems.
* Promote a positive Health & Safety culture through audits, risk assessments, and incident reporting.
* Provide personal supervision when required.
What We’re Looking For
* Essential: Previous offshore windfarm experience and 66kV authorisation.
* Full GWO certifications: Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights.
* Offshore medical certificate (including Chester Step) + HUET.
* Knowledge of WTG WTSR and Electrical Safety Rules.
* ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
* Current SAP authorisation to 66kV or above (will also consider 33kV SAPs with multi-feed experience).
