Responsibilities
* Undertake comprehensive assessments of foster carers, adopters, and kinship/connected persons within agreed timescales
* Complete annual reviews and present reports to relevant panels
* Prepare court and tribunal reports and attend hearings as required
* Provide ongoing supervision, guidance, and support to carers to ensure high standards of care
* Contribute to permanency planning, family finding, and matching processes
* Deliver and support training programmes such asSkills to FosterandPreparation to Adopt
* Promote placement stability and positive outcomes for children, including those with complex needs or trauma backgrounds
* Work collaboratively with carers, families, and multi-agency professionals
* Participate in duty rotas, including out-of-hours work when required

Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker (Degree/Diploma in Social Work, CQSW or equivalent)
* Registered with Social Work England
* Experience in fostering, adoption, or family placement work
* Strong understanding of childcare legislation, fostering/adoption standards, and best practice
* Knowledge of trauma-informed and therapeutic parenting approaches
* Full driving licence
