We have a new opportunity at Virgin Media O2 for a Core Voice Signalling Support Engineer! Based in the Operations team, within the CTO division, this role is accountable for the operation and technical support of the Core Voice network, providing a second to none operational support function for a wide variety of Virgin Media O2 customer facing services. It is a fast-moving environment with a constant rate of change and new deliveries. Therefore, a focused but flexible approach is necessary.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience:
* Extensive experience in a 2nd/3rd line core voice & fixed signalling technical support role and E/// & Nokia experience
* A good understanding of 2G, 3G, 4G & IMS, 5GSA networks, signalling, interfaces and protocols
* Demonstrate strong analytical and diagnostic skills and a logical approach
* Experience with network tracing and deep packet analysis tools, including Empirix, node level traces and Wireshark
* Ability to support the delivery of multiple Virgin Media O2 network projects as a trusted operational technical lead
