Location: South Barnsley (predominantly office-based)
Salary: Up to £380p/d DOE (inside IR35)
This contract will last a minimum of 6 months. We are seeking a technically-minded, all-encompassing contractor with a well-rounded SME background who can start immediately.
Key Duties
* Preparing Financial Statements: Compile accurate income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in accordance with accounting standards.
* Maintaining Financial Records: Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded for transparency and compliance.
* Ensuring Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to legal, tax, and financial regulations, including statutory reporting and audits.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
Candidate Requirements
* Fully-qualified accountant (ideally ACA/ACCA; CIMA considered)
* Controls experience
* Ability to work on-site most of the time, with potential for one day remote work per week after training
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
