Delivery Manager – £50,000 – Remote/Monthly South West meetups – 12 months FTC

The Role
You will join a talented team of experts as part of the Delivery Function – manage a portfolio of projects, help deliver innovative technology solutions for clients, and guide teams through challenges. You will work on various projects, including retained projects for private and public sector clients, enterprise application development, and CMS builds. You will assist the business in scoping services across different clients.
You will have:
* Proven experience in a Delivery Manager, Senior Manager, or similar role managing multiple concurrent technology projects.
* Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and GDS standards, with hands-on experience delivering digital products in line with these practices.
* Expertise in applying Agile methodologies and project delivery tools, with a deep understanding of when and how to use specific techniques to maximise client value.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, solve problems, and deliver results—while contributing to the delivery process.
* Experience working with both public and private sector clients, familiarity with managing projects for arms-length bodies is a plus.
* Solid experience with complex CMS design and build, web design, application development, and Power Platform projects.
* Exceptional communication skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and handle difficult conversations empathetically.
* Ability to adapt and manage uncertainty in rapidly changing environments, maintaining focus and delivering innovative solutions.
You will be detail-oriented, task-driven, and capable of organizing the existing development team while helping them manage priorities.
You will be a delivery evangelist. The team is growing, utilizing Agile methodologies, and eager to be challenged and pushed forward as a business and team. They value learning and development and strive for continuous improvement. Managing difficult stakeholders with a positive "get it done" attitude is essential.
