We are currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic Secondary Cover Supervisors to work across a variety of ‘Good’ rated secondary schools in Lichfield and the surrounding areas. This flexible role is perfect for individuals looking for full or part-time work.
About the role
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Your role is to ensure a positive and productive learning environment while maintaining classroom behaviour and supporting students as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure students remain on task with the work set
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Provide support to students where appropriate
Report back on student progress and behaviour to teaching staff
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working with young people ( in a school, youth work, coaching, or tutoring role)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage classroom behaviour confidently
A flexible and proactive approach to work
A genuine interest in education and supporting students' development

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor you will:
* Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar classroom-based role
* A confident, professional and adaptable approach
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* A valid DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar classroom-based role
