Pallet Network Distribution Driver - Minimum 6-12 Months Experience Required
We are currently recruiting a reliable and experienced Pallet Network Distribution Driver to join a busy and well‑established transport operation. This is a multi‑drop role, delivering palletised freight to both commercial and residential customers within a defined delivery area.
This position is ideal for a driver who is confident working in a fast‑paced environment, comfortable using an electric pump truck, and committed to delivering a high standard of customer service on every drop.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing daily deliveries and collections of palletised goods, ensuring all consignments are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. You will represent the business at customer sites, so a professional and courteous approach is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Complete multi‑drop deliveries and collections of palletised freight
Safely load and unload vehicles using an electric pump truck
Ensure freight is secured correctly and handled with care
Deliver goods accurately and within agreed timeframes
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic proofs of delivery (PODs)
Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and transport teams
Adhere to all road traffic laws, health & safety regulations, and company procedures
Driver Requirements
Valid [Class 1 / Class 2 / 7.5T - adjust as required] licence
Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 6-12 months driving experience (pallet network experience preferred)
Confident operating an electric pump truck
Good geographical knowledge of the local area
Strong time management and organisational skills
Physically fit and capable of completing manual handling tasks
Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic
