We are seeking a Data Strategist to join a leading integrated communications agency, renowned for creating emotionally intelligent, culturally resonant, and commercially effective campaigns. About the Role
Working closely with the Head of Data & Insight and embedded within a collaborative team of four, you will be central to unlocking insight from data and delivering clear, actionable recommendations to clients and internal teams. This role sits at the heart of strategy, data, and creativity — connecting numbers to narrative.
You will spend approximately 60% of your time on a flagship automotive client with a high volume of activity across performance marketing. The remaining 40% will be spread across a range of other iconic brands, offering variety and breadth in your day-to-day.
Key Responsibilities
* Extract and synthesise insights from campaign and customer data to inform strategy
* Work with Planning and Strategy teams to shape data-informed creative ideas
* Build clear, compelling narratives through campaign effectiveness analysis
* Support campaign ideation with data validation and hypothesis testing
* Manage and present findings directly to senior client stakeholders, including Heads of Marketing
* Leverage tools like Power BI and Excel to build intuitive dashboards and presentations
* Help define KPIs, measure success, and improve ongoing campaign performance
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Strong experience within data, ideally in a performance marketing context
* Agency background, comfortable in fast-paced, client-facing environments
* Confident engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders – both internally and client-side
* Data-agnostic with expert Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI is a plus
* Strategic thinker with an eye for patterns, insights, and story
* Experience working with CRM, creative strategy, or integrated campaign development is highly desirable
* Able to balance short-term campaign impact with longer-term brand thinking

Contract Type: 12-month fixed-term contract
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)
