The successful candidate will undertake all duties associated with that of a Quality Engineer, operating out of the Company’s head office in Chichester, assisting all departments in supplying services for production and monitoring the quality of manufactured products.
More about the role:
* Control of production & project documentation to meet BS EN ISO 9001:2015 7.5 requirements (Production / Access & Traceability / Currency / Distribution / Customer data and certification for all products).
* Inspect products upon receipt for equipment suitability and classification, working closely with design and fabrication teams.
* Ensure quality assurance and oversee production of pipework fabrication from drawings using SolidWorks 3D (Welder Code / WPQR / NDT / Technical drawing completion / Fabrication pack assurance).
* Coordinate production programming, collaborating with design and fabrication teams.
* Review designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contracts, and related specifications.
* Coordinate technical development activities, scheduling, and resolve engineering design and testing issues.
* Plan and conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT), address customer concerns, and produce accurate records.
* Assist with commissioning activities of manufactured products.
* Prepare product quality packs for quality assurance prior to dispatch.
* Ensure health and safety compliance.
