You will be working with a compassionate team committed to delivering the best in care and rated Good by the Care Quality Commission. As we continue to expand our services, we are seeking a Medical Secretary on a zero-hours contract basis.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will provide full secretarial support to the medical secretaries across all specialties, maintaining effective communication with consultants, GPs, medical staff, patients, and hospital staff. Responsibilities include typing clinic letters, filing, collating results, healthcare record tracking, and assisting in outpatient record preparation, always maintaining patient confidentiality.

Flexibility
* Ability to cover any required specialty
* Flexibility to work outside standard hours occasionally
Qualifications
* GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English
* RSA 3 keyboard skills or equivalent
* Proficiency in audiotyping
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and hospital information systems
* ECDL qualification or equivalent
Communication Skills
* Experience in busy environments dealing with the public
* Good interpersonal and communication skills in English
Experience
* Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and medical terminology
* Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing circumstances
* Experience working in an office environment and NHS experience preferred
