The Project This landmark, multi-phase residential scheme is set to run for the next 12 years, delivering high-quality homes and thriving communities. With planning secured and enabling works underway, we're looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to lead the commercial strategy from early stages through to final delivery.
The Role As Senior Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the commercial success of the development. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for:
Leading and mentoring a team of Quantity Surveyors and commercial staff
Overseeing procurement strategies, cost planning, and contract negotiations
Managing budgets, forecasts, and risk throughout the lifecycle of the project
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure commercial objectives are met
Driving value engineering and cost control without compromising on quality
About You
Proven experience in a Senior Commercial role within residential development or main contracting
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and UK construction law
Track record of delivering complex, multi-phase residential projects (RC frame and traditional build)
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
