About the Role:
We are looking for experienced Senior Care Assistants to join a network of leading care providers in Doncaster and surrounding area's on a temporary basis. In this rewarding role, you will contribute to creating a warm, nurturing environment where residents feel safe, valued, and empowered to live their lives to the fullest. Your efforts will directly impact their well-being and help them thrive in a supportive, person-centred setting.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
* Support mobility, transfers using appropriate equipment such as hoists or walking aids.
* Assist with feeding and ensuring residents receive the appropriate nutrition and hydration
* Record vital signs and update care records.
* Encourage independence and engage residents in activities to promote well-being.
* Provide emotional support and build positive relationships with residents and families.
* Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
* Follow care plans and report any changes in residents' conditions.
* Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care.
* Adhere to health, safety, and confidentiality policies.
* NVQ Level 2 upwards would be required
* Confidence with medication administration
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year experience in a care setting
* Trained to use hoists and other moving & handling equipment
* A caring, compassionate, and empathetic attitude
* Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
* Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records
* Flexible approach, sensitive to the needs of residents
* Ability to build positive relationships with residents and their families
* Medication training is beneficial but not essential
* A valid UK driving license is required as you will be expected to travel between different care clients

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: £13.68-£15.00 per hour
