They’re ultimately building a team of smart, passionate, and ambitious people that are excited by the opportunity for growth both personally and professionally as they aim to build the next SaaS success story.The RoleReporting to an excellent CFO with a track record of helping to scale multiple SaaS start-ups in London, they are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to support the build out and management of the Finance function. This is an incredibly broad and hands-on role that will work closely on developing FP&A, Financial Modelling and the budgeting and forecasting process alongside the CFO, as well as creating and driving the improvement of end-to-end accounting practices, Management Accounting, Month-End and Financial Reporting. With significant exposure to the wider business and Leadership Team there is scope to drive commercial performance in a Business Partnering capacity.There will also be the chance to support the CFO with fundraising projects (Series B in the next 12 months) and international expansion projects with a clear route to Head of Finance and Finance Director positions.Create and drive the improvement of end-to-end accounting practicesEstablish excellent month end and management accounting processesBuild out financial planning and analysis (FP&A) alongside the CFOImplementing new financial controls and processes to ensure ‘best practice’Establish an effective budgeting processConsistently look at new Software and systems to automate manual day-to-day accounting tasksEstablish and produce rolling forecastingProvide effective Business Partnering to in house teamsSupport the CFO with the production of longer-term strategic planningSupport the CFO with Investor and Board reporting and future fundraising projects (upcoming Series B)Implement insightful SaaS KPI’s and analysis to drive improved decision makingSupport the CFO with the development of world class financial modellingLiaise with auditors and third-party advisors to deliver tax returns and global tax complianceBuild, mentor and develop an excellent team as the business growsExtensive ad-hoc projects to support the business as they grow and as the finance function expandsWhat we need to see (Essential):Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Experience in a Tech start-up or scale-up (SaaS preferred)Extremely smart with a flair for financial analysisIncredibly ambitious with a desire to continue learningExcited by start-ups and an understanding of what start-up life involves!Willingness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in across FinanceWhat we would like to see (Bonus):Transaction Services experience preferred (they are open to someone moving from Practice)Understanding of SaaS KPIs and metricsExposure to both FP&A and Financial ControlSalary: £80,000 - £90,000 + share optionsLocation: London with hybrid working model (2/3 days a week in the office)Please get in touch with Charlie at charlie.whitaker@harmonicfinance.com for more information.Please feel free to circulate with any friends or contacts that may be interested.At Harmonic, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace.
