Duty Technician – Winchester (Onsite, SC Cleared) | 5-Year Programme | Inside IR35
SR2 are working with a large consultancy partner to deliver a long-term 5-year programme near Winchester. We’re looking for experienced Duty Technicians to join the team on an initial SOW starting early November 2025.
Key Details
Location: Near Winchester (onsite only, no remote working)
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm / 7pm–7am), 4 days on / 4 days off
Contract: 5 years (initial SOW)
Start Date: Early November 2025
IR35: Inside IR35
Rate: Competitive (depending on experience)
Clearance: Active SC clearance required (SC + NPPV preferred)Responsibilities
Handle incoming technical support incidents, requests, and changes for a Level 2 support service.
Manage your personal call queue, ensuring timely updates and customer communication.
Resolve a wide range of issues, from password resets to complex server queries.
Escalate issues to 3rd Line support when required.
Work closely with 3rd Line delivery teams, development, and project teams.
Perform software builds/re-builds on PCs and laptops.
Fix hardware faults and install client upgrades.
Provide excellent customer service as part of a close-knit, highly skilled team of engineers.What we’re looking for
Proven experience in IT support / technical support roles.
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software.
Experience with incident management and escalation.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
