Position: Estimator/Quantity Surveyor Location: East Midlands -40 hours per week Working Pattern: Permanent - Hybrid - 1 day working from home Role Overview The Quantity Surveyor / Estimator will support commercial and project delivery teams by providing accurate cost planning, tendering, contract administration, and financial control across construction projects. The role requires strong commercial awareness, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Estimating Prepare detailed cost estimates, take-offs, and pricing from drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Assess subcontractor and supplier quotations for accuracy, value, and compliance. Develop cost plans and budgets to support tender submissions. Identify value engineering opportunities and commercially viable alternatives. Quantity Surveying Manage project costs from initial tender through to final account. Prepare and submit interim valuations, applications for payment, and variations. Monitor project expenditure, forecast costs, and maintain accurate commercial records.
