About the Role

Leeds Junior Conservatoire is looking for a full-time Administrator to join our friendly and dynamic team.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will support the smooth running of our programmes by providing a welcoming, timely, and efficient administrative service to LJC students, parents, and Conservatoire staff. Your responsibilities will include coordinating course administration, organising LJC concerts, managing enrolments and auditions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting graduation activities.

This full-time position offers hybrid working during the week but requires you to work onsite on Saturday during termtime.

Interviews will be held on Saturday 13 December 2025.

What You Will Do

1. You will provide efficient and proactive administrative support to the Leeds Junior Conservatoire, delivering a welcoming, timely, and professional service to students, families, and Conservatoire staff.

2. Central to the role is a strong customer-focused approach, ensuring all enquiries are handled promptly and that the needs of our service users are met with care and efficiency.

3. Support the administration of course programmes including enrolment, room bookings, facilities setup, registers, timetables, and student support.

4. Organise enrolments, performances, auditions, and graduation activities, ensuring accurate records are maintained.

5. Handle and log LJC course and open day enquiries, working alongside wider Conservatoire enquiries.

About You

6. Educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent) and GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)

7. Strong IT skills with confidence using a range of digital systems.

8. Proven administrative experience, including working with computerised information systems.

9. Experience working with under-18s is essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.

10. Excellent organisational skills to manage a varied workload, with the ability to maintain accuracy and focus under pressure, and strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
