Job Description
As Head of Finance, you will build and lead financial operations for a fast‑scaling lending business. You will oversee financial reporting for a loan book that grew 5× last year, lead capital markets initiatives, and provide strategic insights to the executive team during a period of rapid international growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement foundational finance systems, accounting policies, and reporting frameworks to ensure UK regulatory compliance.
* Lead financial strategy by developing advanced models, budgets, and forecasts to optimise cash flow and liquidity planning.
* Support leadership on capital markets initiatives, manage relationships with debt providers, and lead external audit processes.
Ideal Candidate
* Must hold a formal accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 7 years of total finance experience.
* Requires a minimum of 2 years experience specifically within the finance function of a lending business with strong capital markets knowledge.
* Highly analytical professional with advanced financial modelling skills and the ability to communicate complex data to non‑financial stakeholders.
