Job Title: Payroll Clerk
Location: Garforth
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Service Care is partnered with a forward thinking accountancy practice looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join their team. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, mainly working with payrolls from 1-30 members of staff.

What you will be doing
* Payroll processing for weekly, 4‑weekly and monthly payrolls
* Calculation of wages, bonuses, overtime and statutory payment deductions
* Ensure compliance with tax and employment legislation
* Prepare and submit payroll reports
* Maintain up‑to‑date employee payroll records and ensure data is input correctly
* Handle payroll amendments, starters, leavers and year‑end processes
* Act as the main point of contact for your portfolio, handling queries and offering payroll advice
* Reconciling payroll reports
* Processing CIS returns for contractors
* Other ad‑hoc duties as required
What you will have
* Minimum of 2 years experience within payroll
* Experience running multiple payrolls
* Strong organisational skills
* High attention to detail
