Overview
We are looking for a Holiday Cottage Cleaner to prepare our popular holiday cottages on the stunning Attingham Estate.
Hours and contract
Based on annualised hours. The amount of hours may vary each month, with salary paid in 12 equal instalments. You will work 260 hours over the year, averaging 5 hours per week, flexible depending on operational demand. The main changeover days are Monday and Friday; short breaks may cause other days (including Saturdays). Additional hours may be available if you are able to work. Rotas are issued in advance, and we try to accommodate other commitments where possible.
Salary: £12.25 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Potential start date: ASAP
Internally within the National Trust, you will be known as a 'Holidays Operation Assistant'.

What you'll be doing
On changeover days, you’ll make sure that everything’s pristine and ready for the next guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well-presented and welcoming. You’ll also keep an eye out for anything that’s not as it should be, and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing. If you need to, you’ll also replace any broken items from the store supplies.
Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided for all teams, and extra measures are in place to protect staff.
