Job Description
We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Before and After School Senior Support Worker. The successful candidate will be a dedicated person who will encourage and engage with the children. Applicants must have patience to work with young children and willingness to organise games and activities in line with the school’s policy for enrichment activities. They must be able to work as part of a team, forming positive relationships with staff, parents and pupils.
The post holder will ideally hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years and Childcare and / or Play qualification, or be willing to work towards one. Current working experience of leading and managing a team of staff is essential. Experience of working in a similar setting – out of hours or lunch time provision – is required. The post holder will be trained as an appointed First Aider.
They will support the Club Manager to lead a team of out-of-hours support staff in planning and delivering an excellent service, ensuring high standards are maintained.

An enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references are therefore required for this role. Pre‑employment checks will be carried out in line with KCSIE.
Qualifications & Requirements
