Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for creating, growing and managing an account base. Accountable to directly identify and initiate development efforts. Develop and execute a field sales business plan that will achieve the corporate revenue goals. Accountable to directly identify and initiate business development opportunities.

Responsibilities
* Develops new business across all of our core competencies
* Identify, initiate and engage with clients that provide sustained and profitable revenue streams across multiple services
* Develop and execute a business plan that will achieve sales quota and budget as defined by the company
* Work closely with local, regional and international operations staff to ensure customers’ needs and expectations are met
* Present an array of logistics solutions that enable numerous entry points into accounts
* All other business duties as deemed necessary
* Support and consulting of existing customers as well as further development of a professional cooperation
* Conducting sales and negotiation meetings
* Preparation of offers and calculations
* Processing of customer correspondence
* Preparation and assembly of accompanying documents (offers, concepts, presentations, etc.)
* Planning; organization and execution of customer visits
* Recording and ensuring data maintenance in the CRM as well as for cross-departmental topics in the CRM
* Implementation of regular review meetings
* Ensuring communication between Sales/Customer Service, Operations and Management
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
* Completed further training as a forwarding specialist
* 5+ years of relevant business-to-business sales experience in the Supply Chain Industry preferred
