Vacancy Overview
A dynamic Band 6 Occupational Therapist is needed within the Occupational Therapy team based in acute adult mental health in‑patient services in the Pennine locality. The team supports Woodview at Calderstones, Whalley and Pendleview RBH.
Team and Setting
The Occupational Therapy team works with Recovery Support workers and the multi‑disciplinary inpatient team to promote a model of recovery.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide assessments, plan, and deliver interventions for patients whose mental health issues significantly impact occupational functioning.
* Manage own time and work proactively to meet the fast pace and demands of the service.
* Communicate effectively and work flexibly to facilitate timely discharges.
Qualifications and Experience
* Post‑registration occupational therapist with a minimum of 18 months experience.
* At least 12 months of that experience must be within a mental health setting.
