Senior HR Business Partner – Republic of Ireland, NI & Scotland
12‑Month secondment – Closing date: 11 May 2026.
TJX Europe is the world’s leading off‑price retailer. We offer an engaging environment where talent and collaboration drive success, and we are looking for an experienced HR professional to partner with the Retail Operations Director for TK Maxx & Homesense.
What You’ll Do
* Act as a strategic commercial HR partner to the Retail Operations Director, aligning people strategies with business goals and priorities.
* Partner with retail operations leadership to anticipate talent needs and deliver talent planning that supports a high‑performance culture.
* Champion talent development, build succession plans, identify high‑potential talent, and design career pathways to strengthen internal capability and retention.
* Foster a culture of development and coaching at all levels, providing trusted advisory support and coaching to the Retail Operations Director.
* Work with Reward to support annual cycles, including pay reviews and providing local market insight and business context.
* Support ER on HR policies and procedures to promote operational excellence, mitigate risk, and enhance engagement while staying compliant with UK & I legislation.
* Ensure all people practices comply with employment legislation and regulatory requirements, collaborating with ER and legal units as needed.
* Support the retail leadership team with TJX performance‑management processes, embedding a culture of accountability, continuous feedback, and high performance.
* Promote an inclusive, high‑engagement culture aligned with business leadership competencies and cultural values.
* Use Workday & Power BI to analyze people data and insights (turnover, engagement, performance, succession readiness) to influence decisions and demonstrate HR’s commercial impact.
What You’ll Bring
* Extensive HR management experience partnering with a team of HR professionals.
* Proven experience as an HR Business Partner with direct exposure to multiple HR subject areas.
* Mobile across Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Scotland, with occasional travel across Europe.
* Preferred: PHR or SPHR certification.
* A passion for developing, coaching, and mentoring business leaders, inside and outside HR.
* Demonstrable experience influencing business leaders and delivering business impact as a trusted partner.
