The Opportunity
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a strategic Head of Finance to join a leading FTSE 250 FMCG brand. This role sits within a high-growth Technology division during a transformative period following a successful M&A transaction.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be a key driver in the division’s integration and long-term strategic success, leading a high-performing finance team to deliver excellence across a complex, large-scale organisation.
The role will suit an existing Head of Finance or Senior Finance Manager looking to step into a 'Head of' role, as long as the drive and credibility match the ambition!
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership: Partner with the Finance Director to develop, measure, and drive the divisional business and strategic plans. Leading a team of 4 across a fast paced remit.
* Insightful Analysis: Provide clear, concise reporting and analysis of actual vs. forecast results to enable effective, data-driven decisions.
* Commercial & Operational Partnership: Work closely with Commercial and Operations teams to ensure financial analysis informs contract reviews, bid development, and overall business performance.
* Financial Control: Manage P&L and Balance Sheet forecasts, scrutinising results and challenging the business to ensure all financial objectives are met.
* Team Empowerment: Lead, mentor, and develop a divisional finance team, ensuring robust succession planning and a culture of continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
* Professional Qualifications: You are ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with a strong technical background. Minimum 5 years+ PQE.
* Corporate Experience: Proven experience operating within a Divisional or Group Finance team, ideally within a large-scale or PLC environment.
* Influencing Skills: A natural leader with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders effectively.
* Resilience & Agility: A strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments and can navigate periods of significant change.
* Engagement: A willingness to conduct a sites visits across the year.
* Base Salary: Up to £95,000.
* Performance-Related Bonus.
* Hybrid Working: 2 days per week in the Coventry office, offering a balance of high-level collaboration and flexibility.
