We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team in Milton Keynes. The role is office based with site visits (UK wide) as and when required. In this role, you will support with the management of complex civil engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Our offices in Milton Keynes are based in the Canon Harnett Court business park, ideally located close to Stony Stratford & the A5, the business park has ample parking, electric vehicle charging points, bicycle racks, an onsite café and Victorian Ponds.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Preparation of general arrangement and detailed working drawings for civil engineering projects.
* Preparation of drawing issue sheets and registers and ensuring all incoming and outgoing documents/correspondence are saved in accordance with internal QA protocols
* Undertake design work in accordance with British Standards, Design Manual for Roads and Bridges, Sewerage Sector Guidance, to successfully deliver projects for our clients, and for submission to the Local Authority.
* Work closely with other members of the team, in particular CAD technicians in the preparation of working general arrangement and detail drawings. In some instances, drafting services will need to be undertaken by graduate engineers.
Role Requirements
* Have or gain a sound understanding of technical design packages including Civil 3D, WinDes etc to support the design process.
* Ability to produce basic AutoCAD drawings as required.
* Under guidance of a Senior Engineer, develop engineering inspection and reporting skills.
* Work with Senior Engineers to ensure designs meet the client brief.
* Full driving licence and the use of a car.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a graduate Civil Engineer
* Completion of degree in relevant Engineering subject
