Alternative Capital Markets (ACM)
ACM is a global team with over 50 alternative investment professionals working with high net worth individuals and family offices to develop custom private markets portfolios. ACM offers a platform including private equity, growth/venture capital, private credit, private real estate, hedge funds, co-investments, and impact private investing, including proprietary opportunities within GS Asset Management and external partners. We focus on implementation advice, sourcing, structuring, capital markets, client coverage, and investor relations across global portfolios. We are seeking a senior analyst or junior associate to join our team as we expand our coverage in Switzerland and continental Europe.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist with client portfolio reviews, including alternative portfolio analysis and implementation guidance, performance attribution, and fund commentary.
2. Provide market commentary, fund updates, and details on unique investment opportunities to PWM professionals and external clients.
3. Manage projects related to new business development, strategic planning, product development, and marketing infrastructure, including fund registration and setup.
4. Coordinate with legal, compliance, and fund servicing teams supporting PWM.
5. Connect sales teams with product teams in our Asset Management Division.
6. Collaborate with the ACM teams in New York and Asia on global projects, providing updates on fund performance and business analyses.
REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS:
* At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in investor relations or private markets (private equity, hedge funds).
* Fluency in German (written and spoken) is required.
* Strong team player with leadership qualities and initiative.
* Drive, organization, enthusiasm, creativity, and excellent interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
* Advanced Excel skills and analytical capabilities.
* Strong writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
* Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
