Stock Controller & Asset Tracking CoordinatorLocation: RushdenSalary: Up to £27,000 per annumHours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Early finish Fridays at 4:00 PM)We are seeking an organised and proactive individual to support the Technical Services Department by coordinating stock, assets, and administrative functions. This role is essential to maintaining service efficiency and ensuring engineers are fully equipped to meet customer needs.Key Responsibilities:Administrative Support:-Assist the Customer Services and Technical Services teams with general administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.Fleet Coordination:-Oversee the Technical Services vehicle fleet including scheduling repairs, MOTs, and assisting with insurance claims.-Manage the pool van calendar (Outlook) and coordinate new van setups, including racking, trackers, cameras, and security features.-Collate and maintain records from monthly van checks completed by engineers.Asset & Equipment Management:-Maintain accurate records and oversee the distribution of engineers’ tools, ensuring traceability and availability.-Manage the calibration schedule for all test and service equipment, minimizing downtime.-Coordinate the ordering, distribution, and tracking of uniforms and PPE.Stock Control & Project Support:-Support stock and tooling areas in coordination with the Operations team.-Assemble and dispatch installation kits based on specifications from Project Managers or Lead Engineers.-Manage the return and restocking process for installation tools and equipment.The ideal candidate will have…-Administration and organisational skills-Excellent communication (verbal and written)-Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team-Confident using Microsoft Outlook and other tracking software-Full UK driving licenceBenefits:-Early finish on Fridays-Company pension scheme-On-site parking-Regular social events
