Sports Coach (Behavioural Support)
Salisbury
£13.68 per hour
Start Date: Monday 28th April 2025 or 2nd September 2025 Flexible start dates available
Times: 08.30am – 15:30pm
Temporary – Permanent Position (Full Time)
The School and Role
Vision for Education are currently recruiting a Sports Coach to work in a specialist education and care service based in Salisbury. The service caters for young people aged years with a range of needs. These include social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, complex needs such as attachment disorders, trauma or anxiety, a high functioning autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), pathological demand avoidance (PDA) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The role requires a Sports Coach to transfer into a classroom setting, to work as SEND Teaching Assistants.
Please note: This role is classroom based in a school
Requirements
The desired Sports Coach will have:
* Experience of working with primary and Secondary school aged children
* Experience of working with pupils SEMH, complex needs, trauma and high functioning autism.
* A passion for the progress of pupils
* An ability to work as part of a team
