Overview
The primary objective of the SLP Expert, INTL is to provide physical security services, plan and execute Loss prevention initiatives and ensure asset protection in designated area of responsibility. The SLP Manager would assist in mitigating product loss and maintain customer satisfaction in accordance with Global Security guidelines and policies. The role is cross-functional and requires effective collaboration with stakeholders from business and corporate functions. SLP Expert, INTL day to day activities involve planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and executing process and procedures laid down by the organization and respective function. Identify Areas of shrink at the FC, Sort center and Delivery station level including delivery partners. Identify the potential theft area and work closely with the concerned stakeholders to mitigate the causes of Theft. Optimum utilization of the resources to ensure and maintain high quality and timely support to Business teams. Conduct risk assessment for the respective sites and work in accordance with the security policies and guidelines. Ability to independently handle emergency/crisis situations and use excellent thought process and decision making skills during such ambiguous and complex situation.
Responsibilities
* Security Operation: Rationalization, roster and review of guard force to achieve optimum results; training and development of guard force on process and procedures; implementation & follow-up of security plan; review of post site instructions; daily/weekly/monthly/half-yearly and annual reports; patrolling observations with corrective action; ensure YMS and TBS compliance; ensure all posts are 4M & 5S compliant.
* Audits/Certifications: Keep plans & SOPs updated; periodic review of documentation per GSO policy; preparation of documents for internal & external audits; surprise checks and reports; 5S audits of frisking points and implementation of improvements.
* Process Improvement & Loss Prevention Program: Process review and improvements; quarterly assessment; loss prevention reports; follow-up and closure of CAPA; loss prevention audits.
* Security System: Ensure 100% serviceability of all systems; 100% training of all security guards; access control management and review of access levels; hygiene status report and operational effectiveness of security gadgets; preventive maintenance schedule for all security gadgets and improvements; monthly business review meeting; new projects and completion reports; daily/weekly/monthly reports; daily defect follow-ups; reports and follow-ups of near-miss, suspected movements and process violations at production.
* Loss Prevention Analysis: Conduct investigations with business teams and support functions; quick completion investigations and reports; loss prevention audits and recommendations; surprise checks and reports; follow-up and completion of CAPA for concern areas.
* Security Stores and Assets: Maintain updated assets list and maintenance schedule of assets & security gadgets.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* University degree level or equivalent through experience and professional certification.
* A minimum of 8-10 years in Security and Loss prevention role, law enforcement or security-related profession.
* Extensive and up to date knowledge of security equipment and technology.
* Experience in managing or coordinating security investigations of complex nature.
* Knowledge of information security processes and systems.
* Experience in security auditing.
* Must be a Graduate or Post graduate.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Loss Prevention experience.
* Investigation/Security related professional certifications (CPP, PSP, PCI, etc.).
* Preferably from Military/Law enforcement or criminology/forensics background.
* Emergency Response / Crisis Management experience.
* Training & Development, auditing and security investigations.
